Our firm has extensive experience handling criminal proceedings and relevant litigations, including:

  • advising on criminal law and procedures applicable to clients before and after being charged
  • attending clients to take statement with the SFC, the Police, the ICAC, the Immigration Department and other law enforcement agencies
  • entering into plea bargaining for clients before or after being charged
  • application for bail for clients before trial or pending appeal
  • conducting investigation and prepare evidence before trial
  • defending clients in Magistrate Court, the Court of First Instance, the Court of Appeal and the Court of Final Appeal
  • conducting appeals at all levels of courts
  • conducting mitigation and submissions for reduction of sentence for clients
  • Handling commercial crimes such as bribery and money laundering

Our firm also handled and defended our clients of charges involving serious crimes.  We represented Ms. Ho Ling-yu in the Tsuen Wan ‘cement coffin’ murder trial.  We have also represented defendants in the Northeastern New Territories case and the Civic Square case for trial, and to appeal against conviction and sentencing on their behalf.  In addition, we have represented defendants in a series of rioting cases in relation to the Mongkok violent event. 

We also advise clients on general crimes such as possession of drugs, drug trafficking, driving offences, burglary, theft and sexual assaults.
